Lights. Cameras. Flick! : Understanding How to Influence Culture in Pics
Retail catalogs are a thing of the past. Millennials love frequent images to observe, like, repost, or recreate. Previously, I took matters into my own hands, and conducted my own photo shoots. I was promoting "Noya's Quick Picks" as a show, but I never had the chance to wear the merchandise that I was promoting. The marketing team saw my independent campaign and wanted me to be a part of their promotional campaigns. Photographer Joe Long took these three images. All of the images had different agendas to influence culture. The picture to the left was for a New Balance shoot. The middle picture was for a feature in a college publication. The picture to the right is me having a meet-and-greet with singing sensation Kehlani.
